Results of unique survey on business education in packaging to be presented at EU Conference

On 21 April 2016 Filip Dochy, professor Learning & Development, Corporate Training and Lifelong Learning at the University of Leuven, will present the results of a unique survey amongst the European industry about the needs in continuous business education in packaging. Prof Dochy is one of the speakers of the 2nd European Conference on the Future of Business Education in Packaging (FBEP) which will take place at the Igluu Creativity and Knowledge Center in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.

Oberschleissheim, March 21, 2016 – “Inspired by Tradition–Built for Innovation”, this is how Schreiner ProTech, a business unit of family-owned Schreiner Group based in Munich, Germany, billed the grand opening of its new production site in China. More than 100 guests attended the ceremony celebrating the launch of the manufacturing facility in Fengpu, in the Fengxian District south of Shanghai. Ardagh invests €2.4 million in new state-of-the-art warehouse

Ardagh Group has today announced that it has invested 2.4m in a state-of-the-art warehousing facility at its Deventer production facility in the Netherlands. This investment includes the very latest in stock management solutions delivering an enhanced service to the customers it serves.


At the forefront of this investment is a fleet of ‘fully automated’ forklift trucks.   Known also as ‘Automated Guided Vehicles’ (AGVs), they are controlled by advanced software and manage the operation of the 7,500 sq. meter warehouse in a full lights out environment.
