The stable plug-in modules and the pre-assembled floor panels guarantee a fast construction and a healthy gentle packaging of the cargo. With the correct strapping superior overall stability is achieved for the transport.  The lower by approximately 40% compared to wood weight simplifies handling and reduces transport costs, particularly in the air freight.  Due to the materials used, the MC Box is not subject to export restrictions, is also the product - small series can be used and manufactured tailored to customer requirements.

Bottle and Preform Necks Sterilization

Preform neck sterilization could be done by integrating this equipment on the preform chute upstream of the blowing step(preform necks), or on the conveyor upstream of the filler (bottle necks). 
The decontamination levels obtained on preform necks achieve a 3 - 4 log microbial reduction in bacteria and molds.

The preform neck (internal and external) is decontaminated by pulsed light.

The body of the preform is decontaminated when it passes through the oven at the blowing step.

Pouch with spine is upstanding innovation for refills

Making the product refill experience more palatable for consumers, the new Method Laundry & Dish Refill Pouch (with Spine), supplied by Innovative Packaging Solutions, Inc., has been awarded Gold by the Flexible Packaging Association for Technical Innovation in its 2012 Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards. The Refill Spine Pouch was designed by Method’s director of packaging, Rudi Becker—who is also referred to in Method-speak as “The Resinator”—to be easier to handle and more attractive on-shelf than traditional gusseted refill pouches.

OTR and WVTR Barrier Coatings for AlOx Packaging Applications

Michelman introduced two innovative AlOx topcoats. Working in collaboration with BOBST, one of a supplier of equipment and services to packaging and label manufacturers, Michelman has developed and commercialized Michem® Flex B5770 and Michem Flex B5780. Both Michelman barrier coatings are designed as topcoats for AlOx transparent films and work in conjunction with BOBST’s AlOx coatings.

The new batch box of Equisa AG is an innovative design. The USP is that the weight of the upper pallet receiving via the stacking corners - these novel stacking corners cause the stack frame outside the pallet edge, making it absolutely comes no loss of space on the pallet.  The system is applicable to medium-high, non-stackable pallets, which previously represented a significant problem in logistics and transportation.  The loss of space in trucks and vans delivering cost losses and inefficiencies in transport.

This easy opening and closing pack is extremely well thought out solution technically well solved. This is a solution with high functionality tailored to the target group of patients with severe rheumatoid symptoms. Impressively thought out and thorough in detail. Technically well solved. In particular, the easy opening and resealing was impressive.

The Schumacher Packaging Group presents its patented world innovation CargoProtop® – paper based eco modules – as part of the new CargoProfil® product line. These are cover frames that provide a sturdy and secure way of packing loads onto transport pallets, and they are available right now. Compared to conventional chipboard, CargoProtop® is lighter, but at the same time it is sturdier and tougher. It is light in weight and has rounded edges which greatly facilitates handling and makes it ideal for strapping. CargoProtop® is available in standard dimensions 1200 x 800 mm.

The extremely light and flat kit to fix a permanent patch to a bicycle inner tube uniquely combines existing packaging technologies to form a new customer benefit. The kit fits in any pocket or wallet; the waste is minimal. Roughener and patches are affixed to the glue sachet and are easily removed by peeling off.
