Tetra Pak partners with Disney and Marvel to revitalise its dairy drinks

According to Tetra Pak, 80 Disney and Marvel-inspired designs will feature on the packaging of Coop’s Qualité & Prix ambient white milk, fresh white milk, flavoured milk, and protein drinks in Switzerland.

Tetra Pak’s Coop-Disney collaboration project leader Farahnaz Mohsenin said: “It’s exciting to see our collaborative approach opening new opportunities for our customers. The campaign includes one of Switzerland’s largest retailer[s], Coop; Swiss dairy market leaders, Emmi Group and Cremo.

Pernod Ricard India aims to remove mono cartons from its packaging by June 2023

According to a recent study by PWC-Assocham, by 2050 India would need a landfill as big as the size of its capital city, New Delhi, to manage its urban waste. In a bid to reduce waste going to landfills, Pernod Ricard India, a global leader in the wine and spirits industry, has taken an initiative remove permanent mono cartons from its packaging across all its product offerings.

Pneumatic Scale Angelus takes it up a notch for craft brewers with the CB100C !

Pneumatic Scale Angelus (PSA),  one of several Barry-Wehmiller companies represented in BW Packaging Systems, will introduce its new CB100C rotary counter-pressure filler at the Craft Brewers Conference, Minneapolis. Building upon the capabilities of PSA’s CB50C counter-pressure canning line, the CB100C leverages a 12-head rotary filling turret design, coupled with a dual-station seamer, to allow craft beverage producers to increase their throughput to more than 100 cans per minute. This will be the fifth consecutive innovation that PSA has debuted at the Craft Brewers Conference.

Able to withstand harsh environments and tough washdowns, the LRP-425’s wetted parts including the pump casing, casing cover and impeller are constructed of 316L stainless steel. The turbine vane styled impeller is engineered with tight tolerances so that product can quickly transfer with very little turbulence and slippage, keeping product intact.

Idealpak has extended the adjustable molded packaging

Idealpak’s adjustable molded packaging have molds with a fixed diameter and adjustable bottoms. That allow us to accommodate various capacities of PET bottles and jars by simply changing their heights. Bottles and jars with the same diameter can be made in different sizes with short lead times and at very low cost.

Their adjustable molded packaging now includes cylinder PET jar series, cylinder PET bottle series, and round-shoulder PET bottle series.

Systems dedicated to labeling Micro-screw tubes as a sample !

Convey 180 uncapped tubes, Take the liquid from a bottle and distribute it into each tube. Pick up screw caps from a tray, seal each tube, and check by the sensor. Apply a label to each tube. Insert the tubes to racks, starting at position X on stand Y. A cab partner provides solutions for such or similar lab workflows.
