Cutty Sark Whisky Gets New Design From Pearlfisher

The original clipper ship, drawn in 1923 and updated only once in the last 88 years has now been revised. Pearlfisher also gave the label a bold yellow colour to create a &ldquohigher degree of visibility&rdquo. The design agency said that it &ldquoechoes the classic cutty imagery of the mid 1960&rsquos and 1970&rsquos&rdquo. The green glass has been retained but has been premiumised with key brand messages embossed onto the bottle.

Nescaf Launches Compact Refill Pack

According to nescafé, the new packs &ldquorequire 50 fewer lorries per tonne of coffee to transport them to retailers&rdquo. The refill packs are now available in stores and are made from a combination of aluminium foil and plastic film. The packs require less energy and water to produce, and take up less space in shopping bags, bringing added convenience to consumers, according to the instant coffee firm.
