Healthy kids’ food brand, Little Dish, is set to relaunch its eight delicious, veg-packed children’s meals on 6th February 2023. 

The pioneers of fresh food for kids have worked with talented chefs and experts in children’s nutrition and feeding to ensure the new meals are nutritionally balanced for little ones, contain just the right textures, and taste as good as homemade. The updated recipes have up to six different veggies in each meal with exciting new vegetables blended into the mashed potato and sauces, plus ‘made from scratch’ curry pastes to boost flavour.

Greiner Packaging making strides towards reducing material usage for yogurt cups

One aspect of Greiner Packaging’s sustainability strategy is reducing its material usage, a goal it has been pursuing for some time now. The company aims to produce packaging that exhibits the same functionality and improved recyclability when compared with previous solutions, in order to cut back on plastic from virgin materials as well as carbon emissions.

Greiner Packaging achieved a material saving of 20% for the new Greek yogurt cup, having reduced the solution’s weight by making adjustments to technical conditions in production.

Nescafé launches new refill pouch that uses less packaging and costs you less

The new 150g refill pouch is 97 percent lighter than the 200g glass coffee jar and has on average 60 percent less plastic than the jar’s lid. 

The pack is resealable to help preserve freshness and once the refill is empty consumers can recycle the pack in more than 5000 stores across the UK and through kerbside collection in Ireland. 

Not only does the new pouch use less packaging, it is also lighter on the wallet and offers better value for money compared to the standard coffee jar helping to make your money go that little bit further.

Two of the brand's best-sellers—its moisturizer and makeup remover—are decorated with a bold uplifting illustration by artist Elen Winata.

EPL's Platina is World's First Fully Recyclable Packaging Tube

EPL's Platina is the first fully sustainable and completely recyclable tube in the world, including shoulder and cap, to get this recognition. It is the only tube to have an integrated shoulder INNER BARRIER LINER (IBL) that is also recyclable in HDPE recycle stream. This is a big step forward as it allows the total tube to be recycled in a single recycle stream.

Oberschleissheim, March 7, 2023 – For more than 30 years, Schreiner Group has been a pioneer in climate protection and sustainability. Now the high-tech company has also committed officially to climate neutrality and the goals of the Paris Agreement by submitting a Commitment Letter to SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative). Schreiner Group is currently in the process of fine-tuning its climate neutrality concept and will already start climate-neutral manufacturing supported by diverse actions toward the end of this year.

Berry Helps Norwegian Dairy Producer Introduce Packaging with Recycled PP

TINE has converted the packaging for two of its Rømme products and one of its sour creams from polystyrene (PS) to PP pots with 50% recycled material, calculated using the mass balance approach, certified by the International Sustainability & Carbon (ISCC PLUS) system.

TINE’s head of sustainability Bjørn Malm said: “At TINE, we want all our packaging to be made of renewable or recycled material by 2025. Our new packaging solution for Rømme and sour cream is an important step towards our goal.”
