SySoft Luxury Bamboo Toilet Tissue will appeal to Sybron’s environmentally committed customers, in particular premium hotels working towards reducing their carbon footprint. It is available in cases of 48, 3ply rolls with 200 sheets per roll.

These “living laboratories” at the case study sites, where experts from different disciplines and sectors will be brought together with civil society, aim to look at which solutions will work and what the relative costs and benefits of each might be. 

PISCES plans to eventually roll out living labs to every province nationwide, with the second and third planned for Bali and East Nusa Tenggara. 

Following the first signs of cooling prices for flexible packaging materials seen at the end of 2022, the first quarter of 2023 saw a drop across the basket of materials, with only aluminium foil ticking up further (from 179% to 187% v Q4 2020)* due to higher conversion costs. Only 60gsm one sided coated paper remained stable at 170%, v Q4 2020.

Under the new rules, no PVC plastic will be allowed in online retailers' packaging, while wrappers containing more than 90 percent recycled paper in natural colors or plastic packaging with more than 25 percent reusable plastic should be prioritized.

In addition, rules on how much packaging can be used will differ depending on how big an online retailer is.

Cabinet Health, the makers of the world's first refillable and compostable medicine system, is launching its first-ever nationwide pill bottle recycling program to address the pharmaceutical plastic waste crisis. Through the program, anyone in the U.S. will be able to request a recycling bag from Cabinet Health, ship back their old, empty plastic pill bottles–with all personal information removed–for free to Cabinet, where the bottles will then either be recycled responsibly, or upcycled into an evolving art sculpture by interdisciplinary artist Kellie Gillespie.
