Freeze-Light-Protect securely adheres to the syringe despite extremely low temperatures and enables reliable marking, according to the company. In addition, the specialty label can be provided with a variety of UV and light protection levels. The first level strictly provides UV protection, level two protects against UV rays and blue light, and level three delivers full light protection.

TekniPlex Healthcare Doubles Down on Madison, WI

TekniPlex Healthcare is building a new 200,000-square-foot manufacturing plant in Madison, WI, its second facility in the city. Scheduled to open in early 2024, the plant will expand lamination capacity for a broad range of materials, including PET, nylon, paper, foil, PE, EAA, and ionomer, in both peelable and non-peelable structures for the company’s global healthcare customers.

Berry Launches Recycled Content Large Containers with Additional UN Approvals

Berry Global’s technical and manufacturing skills have achieved a significant breakthrough in the packaging of hazardous liquids. The company has now launched the first 20 and 25 litre containers containing 35% recycled material, which have UN Approval for the transport of hazardous goods for five of the six model liquids in the UN assessment.

In addition to the existing UN approval for water, the new containers also have approval for wetting solution, acetic acid, white spirit, and N-butyl acetate.
