This change in distributorship allows Bartelt to expand and streamline the HFFS product lines both Bartelt and FLtècnics, and strategically aligns them to more effectively provide the best solution for a variety of customer applications. Bartelt is a leading manufacturer of pouching, cartoning, shrink wrapping, case and tray packing systems for numerous markets, including food and confectionary, beverage, pharmaceutical, and others. 

The Better Planet Packaging design team and technical experts worked collaboratively with Pepsico and their machine manufacturers to develop a 100% paper-based concept. We carried out a full supply chain analysis using our SupplySmart service to calculate the logistical benefits of moving to the new cardboard pack.

Mondi, a global leader in packaging and paper, has entered the bike packaging market with its Protector Bags, providing a new sustainable solution for Diamant to replace plastic wrapping used around the handlebars of its Trek and Diamant brands.

Germany’s oldest bike manufacturer will now use Mondi’s recyclable Protector Bags that are made from renewable materials. The change means that Diamant will reduce its plastic use by 16 tonnes every year – around 85% of its previous consumption – as well as saving costs in logistics and transportation.

The lightweight paperboard used in the calendar supports the circular economy and reduces waste. Thanks to the lightweight and resource-efficient design, the carbon footprint of the calendar carton is also one quarter lower than the previous one.

The new packages each feature a piece of artwork drawn by various CMN Hospitals Champions, who are child ambassadors that advocate for the charitable need of children’s hospitals across the United States. The creative images on the bars are meant to represent an imaginative, fond or memorable moment in their lives.
