B&R has added a real-time Ethernet switch to its portfolio. The new machine switch can be used to set up networks using the vendor-agnostic communication solution OPC UA over TSN. Its design and form factor fit perfectly into the B&R portfolio for space-saving mounting in the control cabinet.

Wipro 3D develops india's first metal 3D printing machine with IISc

Wipro 3D, the dditive mnufacturing (AM) business of wipro infrastructure engineering (WIN), have jointly with the Indian Institute of Science (IISC) have developed the contry's first industry grade metal additive 3D printing machine.

This 3D printing machine works on selective electron beam melting technology naad offers higher build rate, better therml management ,higher part density as well as superior mechanical properties, said the company.

The machine's  benchmerking is underway and likely to be completed in ner future, said the company.
