The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has notified provisions for the omission of the term curd from the Standards of Fermented Milk Products to vide notification dated 11 Jan 2023.

Recently, FSSAI has issued a press release on 30th March 2023 and allowed the use of regional names on curd packets amid the political controversy in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

End users of hot and cold cup lids are increasingly looking for alternatives to replace plastic lids with more sustainable solutions. While the use of plastic lids has not yet been widely banned by regulation, restaurants, coffee chains, retailers and others are already taking action to transition away from single-use plastic lids.
