In 2014 GKS introduced the unique fully modular construction method of its CP and UP packaging machine series. All well-known and proven advantages of this innovative modularity are now implemented into MINI, the successor to the MP150.

With MINI, GKS once again offers an extremely compact and competitive packaging machine, built according its inventive simplicity and characterized by a ‘frameless design’.

Despite its small dimensions, MINI is a ‘mature’ machine with a capacity of up to 65 packs per minute and a maximum bag width of 160mm.

EMA is working closely with the company, with experts in blood disorders, and with other health authorities including the UK’s MHRA based on its experience with around 11 million administered doses of the vaccine.

Mondi uses the retailer’s corrugated waste to produce the EcoVantage grade, in which recycled and fresh fibres are combined to create a recyclable shopping bag.

According to Mondi, the use of fresh fibre in combination with recycled fibres has multiple benefits. EcoVantage paper reportedly combines the strength, printability and appearance of a fresh fibre top layer with the sustainability advantages of a recycled fibre bottom layer.

Whether the product is sticky or greasy, warm or deep-frozen, pressure-sensitive or fragile – all the experience gained from the construction of hundreds of pick & place machines is incorporated into the design of the systems. We are working with government agencies and industry bodies to be able to continue an active role in keeping machines running and the supply of goods to our supermarkets, as free flowing as possible. We have been given permissions by the German Federal Government to continue working in the factory as an essential supplier and have put into practice further social distancing procedures to maintain factory hours.
