Breitsamer Honig witches from PAPERCUP TO GLAS JAR

A NEARLY PERFECT PACKAGING

Breitsamer' organic honeys in paper cups have numerous advantages: they can be recycled, they are made from renewable raw materials, they are climate-neutral and they protect the valuable honey optimally from light.

Nevertheless, there is unfortunately a crucial point where the paper packaging is not yet 100% convincing: in some cases the honey dries out, causing it to lose its liquid or creamy consistency.

The project consists of an HK-S cartoner  for packing biscuits and a subsequent case packer for forming packs in a wrap-around carton. The placing of the biscuits in the tubular bag into the product cassette of the cartoner is done fully automatically by a loading cell with robots. This combination of machines processes up to 150 boxes per minute with three different packing schemes.

World’s first plastic-free paper bottle for laundry products by SUPA

Made in the UK, the eco-mate range of cleaning products are the world’s first liquids in 100% plastic and metal free paper bottles. The paper used in its construction is sustainably sourced from the pulp waste that is created during sugar cane production. This means our bottle is not only free-from plastic, but also that it is made from a by-product that would otherwise have to be thrown away. Re-using a natural pulp in this way means that no trees have been cut down in the production of our eco-mate bottles and we’re helping to reduce waste too.
