In a bold and soulful fusion of design, nature, and indigenous heritage, Tátil Design has unveiled the branding and packaging for Ryos, the latest fragrance line under Natura’s Ekos brand. This is not just a product launch—it is a celebration of the Amazon’s essence, carefully translated into design.
Drawing inspiration directly from the rainforest, Ryos redefines how brands can embody place, culture, and storytelling in one seamless experience. The bottle’s organic form, likened to a river-carved stone, reflects the raw, untouched beauty of the Amazon landscape. But it’s not just visual—it’s symbolic. The name Ryos cleverly integrates the Tupi symbol “Y” (meaning water), replacing the “i” in rios (Portuguese for “rivers”) to honour the indigenous language and its deep connection to the natural world.
According to Julia Liberati, Creative Director at Tátil Design, the Amazon wasn’t merely a backdrop—it was the protagonist. “We wanted to express the region’s soul through strategy and design,” she explains. “By immersing ourselves in the environment, the people, and the cultural context, we crafted a brand identity that speaks from the heart.”
Fernanda Lopes, Global Brand Manager at Ekos, praised the collaboration: “Tátil Design lives and breathes who we are. Their work on Ryos feels like a natural extension of our brand’s values. They went beyond expectations and delivered something that connects on a deep, emotional level.”
Fred Gelli, CEO of Tátil Design, encapsulated the agency’s ethos with a powerful statement: “Ryos highlights something essential to our way of creating: designing with, not for. We immersed ourselves in the forest’s logic—from the river’s rhythm to the culture that flows from it. In our view, design simply gives form to what nature already does. This project is truly co-authored by the Amazon itself.”
The launch of Ryos sets a new benchmark for brand storytelling rooted in authenticity. It proves that innovation doesn’t always mean futuristic—it can mean going deeper, listening more closely, and giving voice to what already exists. Through Ryos, Tátil Design and Natura have created a brand that not only looks beautiful, but also feels meaningful.
