Italian apple marketer Melinda has launched Le Piccoline (The Little Ones), a series of brightly designed apple packs that can also transport children on an imaginary journey.

The new range features a number of different packaging designs made entirely from cardboard; each one can be reused and transformed into a toy vehicle. Inside are five small, Isaaq-branded snack apples.

“Le Piccoline Melinda are a healthy and child-friendly snack,” says a spokesperson for the company. “The perfect way to motivate kids to eat fruit.”

The team at Missouri Creative realised the important of the pack design as the single most important touchpoints with consumers, especially to combat the many restrictions around the marketing of alcohol in Norway. Taking a deep dive into the brand’s history, Missouri reimagined icons from historical designs to create the new hero roundel, the refined white wave and the star pattern. Inspiration was also drawn from the iconic Oslo skyline, known as ‘The Barcode’, which Missouri integrated into the pack barcode.

We had two sessions of this webinar on the services of Packaging Connections 2021 on 12th January 2021. We had a good number of registrations from across the globe and understood that more and more people are looking for services supported remotely. It has been a good way to share the information without traveling and we could utilize our time better. Of course, face to face meeting has its own charm but I think digital is the next best way and in some cases even better. This can certainly help to reduce traveling and so the carbon footprint and then we can travel once in a while.

The agency created a pleasantly simplistic design while still encompassing the quality and character of the range. Keeping the end drink in mind, the Turner Duckworth team used a direct visual approach, making the coffee selection process that much smoother for busy coffee drinkers.

The packaging itself features hand-painted typography denoting the type of coffee in each pack, which allowed the agency to capture the unique qualities of the brewing process such as the soft pressing of a Cafetière and the velvety swirls of a Latte.

Over 250 million deodorants are bought in the UK every year, with the average lifespan of a typical plastic deodorant pack lasting over 400 years after it has been used. Wild aims to change this fact for the better. Wild's deodorant design is minimal and intuitive. The case slides apart to remove and insert the refill and the user experience is not compromised by its sustainability factors. Made from bamboo pulp, the refills are 100% plastic-free and are fully recyclable once a user is finished with them.
