Whereas the draft rules, namely, the plastic manufacture, usage and waste management rules, 2009 were published by the government of india in the ministry of environment and forest vide number s.o. 2400e. Dated the 17th september, 2009 in the gazette of india, extraordinary of the same date inviting objections and suggestions from all persons likely to be affected thereby, before the expiry of a period of sixty days from the date on which copies the gazette containing the said notification were made available to the public.
