 In a breakthrough development, a fully recyclable* mono-material PE pouch has been created that has similar properties to barely recyclable multi-material laminated pouches. The new pouches utilize the latest polymers, inks, functional coatings, adhesives and conversion technology and were the product of a unique value chain collaboration of ExxonMobil, Henkel, Kraus Folie, Siegwerk and Windmöller & Hölscher.

Siegwerk, one of the leading global providers of printing inks and coatings for packaging applications and labels, will exhibit from March 14 to 16 at this year’s InPrint Munich 2023, the leading international exhibition of print technologies for industrial manufacturing. The company will use this opportunity to present its customized inkjet ink and service portfolio including its latest developments and innovations for water-based inkjet especially for corrugated board and flexible packaging.
