Altdorf, Germany – August 17, 2016 – In response to industry demands for more sophisticated supply chain track and trace, Wolke (www.wolke.com) by Videojet has developed an enhanced web interface for the m600 oem thermal inkjet (TIJ) printer, supporting the packaging line OEMs and integrators that supply turnkey hardware and software for these mandated track and trace serialization projects.

Practical in build and intelligent in design, the Wolke m600 oem TIJ printer delivers absolute integration versatility combined with the industry’s most powerful data handling and serialization capabilities, helping to enable manufacturers to meet global track and trace requirements of today and anticipating the needs of tomorrow.

The m600 oem offers ultimate flexibility when integration matters, delivering a footprint up to 60% smaller than comparable TIJ control systems. With 18 possible mounting orientations, and a choice of four distinct printhead designs, the m600 oem becomes a natural part of the customer’s overall serialization solution.

The m600 oem now features enhancements to its web user interface that allow customers to control their line from a touch screen, helping to drive productivity. The interface has been optimized for easy use on any touch screen panel with just a finger. A large and real-time print preview, and quick position editing, enables complete operator flexibility when making adjustments to text or data field locations in the label.

Heidi Wright, Global Business Unit Manager of TIJ and TTO at Videojet explains: “The m600 oem printer has become the trusted standard for track and trace applications around the world. We saw an opportunity to build from that solid foundation, and introduced an enhanced web interface to the end user to help drive productivity.”

Compatible with the latest Wolke cartridge technology, the m600 oem can help enable manufacturers reach previously unattainable print speeds and throughput, supported with ultra-fast handling of serialized data that exceeds 20 variable records per second, even of complex 2D DataMatrix formats.
