sorbead india is gradually climbing the stairs of success. it recently announced the production of desiccant packets that are nontoxic, dmf free and free of any moisture. these packets can be safely introduced into packaging and they evacuate all the moisture and humidity that can harm the item. company explains that they can be safely placed with food and pharmaceutical products especially moisture sensitive drugs so that preservation can be achieved for a long time.manufacturing of silica gel packets is done from silica dioxide the reason why it is harmless and can be used with foods. the desiccants packs must be fda approved and have the ability to absorb upto 40 of its own weight. on saturation the gel does not adsorb moisture further which calls for the recycling of the material by heating it a temperature of 300 degree fahrenheit. desiccant materials generally comprise of activated carbon, clay desiccant, silica gel beads, molecular sieve beads, polyester clothing, transparent bags and nonwoven materials. strips of desiccants are produced that are automatically placed in packaging thus reducing labour costs, increasing the work effectiveness and enhancing the overall productivity. custom packaging of desiccants is also available such as clay desiccant, activated carbon, silica gel packets and molecular sieve packets to suit individual needs of clients. the application of these desiccants packs is seen in areas of medications and vitamins, diagnostic and test kits, dried and frozen goods packaging and lastly pharmaceutical tablets and capsules packaging.these desiccant pouches can be used with dehumidifiers that utilize molecular sieves and silica gel packets. desiccant pillow packs are offered in bulk quantity for use as a blend with other desiccants yielding good results of long term preservation.  desiccant packets are being used for variety of uses. they are being used in electronics industry, food industry, and leather industry, rolled steel industry, computer industry and so on. it is used for applications such as food packaging, electronic equipment packaging, multi vitamins table packaging, creates packaging, computer and mobile parts packaging and much more.
