Partners to include Leading Tech Companies and Organizations to share expertise in the Life Science industry; Forums Planned for Paris, Philadelphia & Shanghai

East Windsor, NJ – Adents, a leading provider of premier, versatile serialization and track & trace solutions, is planning a series of serialization conferences in Paris (April 5-6), Philadelphia (June) and Shanghai (October).

The series of educational forums will include presentations from leading tech companies, including Microsoft and Siemens, as well as government entities overseeing the push for track & trace implementation, such as GS1, the Healthcare Distribution Alliance (HDA), European Medicines Verification Organization (EMVO) and high-level consulting firms.

The programs for each event will be wholly innovative and tech-driven, focusing on forward- thinking serialization solutions that allow global pharmaceutical companies, CMOs and Trading Partners to transform their operations in a positive way. The educational gatherings will look beyond the looming mandates, by demonstrating how manufacturing and supply chain pharma companies can utilize the troves of data generated during the serialization process to improve production and supply chain efficiencies.

Considering this, the series of forums will include presentations and roundtable discussions covering a variety of tech-related topics, including data security & blockchain, simplified interconnectivity, artificial intelligence, virtual glasses and virtual automation.

“Our upcoming conference series presents an opportunity to connect Big Pharma manufacturers and their supply chain trading partners – including 3PLs, distributors, hospitals, retailers and other serialization stakeholders – with communications standard influencers and technology leaders,” explained Christophe Devins, CEO of Adents.

Focus on Emerging, Disruptive Technologies

The event series’ overarching theme is technology. Adents takes a long-term approach to innovation, investing heavily in research and collaboration with best-in- class leaders to identify technology’s impact on the pharmaceutical industry. These efforts deal not only with the various spectrum of serialization initiatives currently affecting markets around the world, but also the increasing demand for more automated production and business improvement methods.

The forums also will reinforce Adents’ leadership position by emphasizing several high-profile partnerships. For example, executives from Siemens and Microsoft will discuss industry trends, present real-life challenge/solution scenarios, and share expertise on implementing comprehensive track & trace programs.

“Serialization is a new frontier for the pharma industry, where data security will be key. Blockchain technology and cloud architecture will be must-haves for serialization data owners all along the supply chain,” said Franck Goron, Senior Digital Advisor at Microsoft

Registration information for the Adents Global Serialization Innovation Summits will be available in the coming weeks (www.adents.com). To allow for networking between attendees, each conference will be limited to 250 participants.
