St. Croix Falls, WI October 3, 2017 - Kluge (Brandtjen & Kluge) successfully launched the NEW Kluge ApexFoil™ Foil Stamping and Diecutting Press at PRINT17 held at the McCormick Center in Chicago. PRINT is the largest graphic arts trade show in North America. As a seasoned veteran of this show, Kluge knows how important it is to bring new and better machines every year. This year was no exception, the company featured a variety of machines and included more of their strategic partners which was all the buzz around the booth. "Our long-time customers were excited to see that Kluge has new products and developments." says Tim Meihls, Chicago based Kluge Regional Sales Manager. "They were impressed with the quicker and sometimes zero make-readies and all the new features on the ApexFoil."

Along with the NEW Kluge ApexFoil, Kluge also demonstrated the KURZ Digital Metal® process on the DM-LINER®, the UV roller coating process on the OmniCoat 3000 and the flexibility of the OmniFold 3000. In addition, the Kluge Team met with other customers at the TXR-1100 booth to demonstrate the blanking machine, in which Kluge has sold as a Dealer in the US.

APEXFOIL™: Now, operators can use the ApexFoil's Compass™ control system that includes patented features to control the "3-T's" Time, Temperature and Tonnage. Compass allows operators to greatly reduce and in some cases, eliminate make-ready on every job.

OmniCoat 3000: Kluge offers a line of OmniCoat UV roller coaters for both production digital and wide format applications.

OmniFold 3000: The Kluge OmniFold 3000 Automatic Folding and Gluing System is a fully modular converting system designed to fulfill today's need and grow with future demands of the commercial printer and packaging manufacturer.

DIGITAL METAL®: Leveraging the benefits of the digital print workflow, the DIGITAL METAL® process allows digital transfer of foil onto paper and cardboard substrates. The DIGITAL METAL® process is highly effective in producing decorative effects for labels, brochures, invitations, magazines, packaging, photo cards, calendars, and more.

TXR-1100 Series Blanking System: As the United States Dealer of the TXR-1100 products; Kluge provides sales, logistics, technical support, spare parts and training for the complete line of blanking systems.

PRINT17 served as a great platform for Kluge to feature a wide variety of machines. As well as seeing technological advances on our latest equipment, and having the opportunity to talk to Kluge technicians and salesmen, attendees walked home with some unique product samples of the Chicago skyline.

"We were very pleased and energized by the response visitors had to Kluge's new product introductions at Print 17." said Michael Aumann, CEO of Kluge. "Our goal was to introduce new products in each of our key development areas: folding and gluing, foil stamping, die cutting and UV coating. We are confident these new products will enable us to keep our position as the industry leader in small to medium format print finishing equipment."
