Polinas Signed A Binding Agreement To Acquire Nuroll From M&G

Polinas signed a binding agreement to acquire nuroll from m&g polinas will acquire the leading packaging polyester film bopet manufacturer of italy, nuroll spa company.  Polinas, which is the largest bopp&cpp film manufacturer of turkey and one of the leading names of its sector in the world, entered into 2011 rapidly by making an important acquisition. Polinas and m&g group agreed upon the acquisition of 100 percent shares of nuroll spa by polinas, take over which will be effective on july 01st 2011.  Nuroll spa which is the number one food package polyester film bopet manufacturer of italy and one of the leading names of its sector in europe, aims to grow in this field both in turkey and in nearby regions with the knowhow of nuroll in bopet film manufacturing process.   Together with nuroll&rsquos existing capacity, it will allow polinas to become a leader also in bopet filmgroup president of yldz holding packaging, ict and real estate groups, dr. Cahit paksoy, underlined the fact that this acquisition is very important for the turkish packaging sector, stated that with this acquisition, and in addition to nuroll already installed capacity and market share development opportunity, the knowhow of nuroll spa will help turkey to develop bopet manufacture in europe and to extend its range of flexible packaging for customer application. Paksoy, stated that m&g group, which incorporates nuroll spa, is one of the largest manufacturers of the world in polyester packaging raw material pet resin, and continued his words as &ldquom&g group is also a group leading with its technology and capacity in polyester market. Nuroll spa was the only important companies of m&g group in bopet packaging applications, and for that reason m&g thought that the best solution was an  integration in a global flexible packaging leader like yildiz. The annual capacity of nuroll spa, which manufactures bopet film since 1988, is 20 thousand tons.&rdquo    the negotiations were continuing for almost 1 year&hellip paksoy stated that the negotiations with m&g group for nuroll spa were continuing for almost 1 year and emphasized the fact that nuroll has a wide and strong customer base including various international groups. "nuroll spa is one of the leading suppliers of europe with it&rsquos approximately 15 percent of market share in bopet film manufacturing in food packaging.   Our presence in europe will strengthen&hellip paksoy told that polinas through nuroll and further development will be able to offer bopet film to its customers besides polypropylene packaging film bopp by strengthening its position in international market, specifically in european market with this acquisition, continued his words as &ldquopolinas will become a full solution partner both for national and international packaging companies. Its sales and service network will enlarge. With this investment, we will also enter into high added value product segment more. And this will create new investment opportunities.&rdquo paksoy also underlined the fact that with this acquisition yldz holding will start manufacturing in 11 countries including turkey.  About polinas polinas, whose partners include yldz holding, anadolu industry holding and agro process s.a.
