Ndc Infrared Engineering Ships Worlds Largest Scanner

Ndc infrared engineering has shipped what is believed to be the largest scanner ever built for a biaxially oriented polypropylene bopp film application. The 11.5 meter 450 inches wide scanner was purchased by hefei guofeng plastics group of china. It will be part of a bopp line supplied by brueckner maschinenbau gmbh of siegsdorf, germany. It will measure films up to 10.4 meters 410 inches wide.the ndc accutrak&trade openended "c" scanner will support an ndc fg710 nearinfrared nir gauge to accurately measure film thickness. The bopp film produced by hefei guofeng is used in food and cigarette packaging, and laminationgrade films.

 Both clear and pearlescent films will be manufactured on this line.ndc infrared engineering offers the world&39s most extensive range of noncontact sensors and systems for measurement of moisture, fat, protein and continuous web processes variables such as coat weight and film thickness.the group&39s range of complementary measurement technologies for the web industry includes infrared absorption, beta transmission, gamma backscatter, xray fluorescence and transmission, laser caliper and uv absorption. Applications include blown film, cast film, paper, foil and film converting, pulp and paper, nonwovens, rubber and plastics sheet materials, tire production and plastic pipe manufacture.

Products range from handheld, portable devices for qa checks, to complete online system solutions for continuous precision measurement and process control.the group is the world market leader in the design and manufacture of near infrared nir sensors and systems for online and offline analysis and measurement.
