Wolfertschwenden, 17. January 2017 - MULTIVAC will be presenting a comprehensive range of packaging solutions for a wide variety of applications at interpack in Düsseldorf. The stand in Hall 5 (E23) will be aimed at food-processing companies as well as manufacturers of industrial products and consumer items. In addition to a wide range of packaging technologies, MULTIVAC will also be showing solutions for upstream and downstream processes such as infeed equipment, pack filling, labelling and marking, quality inspection and end-of-line packing. The stand in Hall 17 (A51) will be focused on the medical and pharmaceutical industries.

As regards equipment for producing portion packs, which are the focus of current trends, MULTIVAC will be presenting a packaging solution that can also be implemented on entry-level machines. This enables high-quality portion packs for food and non-food products to be produced economically even for small batches. The R 145 thermoforming packaging machine has been equipped for this with an innovative cutting system, which contributes significantly to greater versatility and reduced packaging material consumption. The H 052 handling module converges the packs and feeds them to downstream process equipment.

As regards the packing of ready meals, fresh fruit, vegetables and bakery products of all types, MULTIVAC will be showing for the first time the new G 700 traysealer, which will be presented in a fully automated line. The G 700 is characterised by its high cycle output and can run trays in a wide range of materials.

MULTIVAC will also be presenting various concepts for producing vacuum skin packs. In the traysealer sector, the company will be showing the T 300 H, a high-output entry-level model for packing a wide range of products in small to medium-sized batches, and among the thermoforming packaging machines, MULTIVAC will be presenting the R 105 MF, which enables even small companies to produce highquality MultiFreshTM packs cost-effectively.

MULTIVAC will also be showing a range of solutions, which demonstrate how the company's expertise in complete lines is constantly being expanded. The equipment range now includes many different solutions for upstream and downstream processes, such as for example the infeed and loading of products as well as secondary packaging.

When it comes to the chamber machine sector, the company from the Allgäu region of Germany will be presenting its comprehensive product range of small-chamber and large-chamber models, as well as doublechamber machines and chamber belt machines.

MULTIVAC Marking & Inspection will be presenting information about its comprehensive range of inspection and labelling solutions on both stands. In addition to the L 330 conveyor belt labeller, which is specially designed for labelling packs of sliced products, the focus will also be on integrated inspection systems, such as the I 410 with high-resolution line scanners for visual inspection from above and below, and the I 210 checkweigher, which meets the highest requirements of the food industry. In addition to these, MULTIVAC will also be laying out other innovations at interpack.
