Kompac Announces Success Based on Dscoop Phoenix, Looks Towards Lyon

With the close of Dscoop Phoenix, Kompac is pleased to announce they’ve signed a deal with Acculink for a Kwik Finish 32 UV/Aqueous coater. With the install to take place later in April, both Kompac and Acculink were pleased with the outcome of Dscoop and ability to connect with peers in the industry.

During the four-day event, Kompac demonstrated the EZ Koat 20 Plus and was giving out sample booklets that demonstrate the full capabilities of its UV/aqueous coating systems. Combining different technologies, the samples were printed on the HP Indigo 30000, HP 7900 and HP5900, and show spot and flood coating with variations of standard and specialty coatings such as soft touch, gloss, and textured images.

“I had been considering another coating system, which frankly, I thought, was the only coater delivering the size and features I needed. After talking to the team at Kompac, I found that for a comparable cost, they could deliver a unit that offered us much more in terms of substrate thicknesses, as well as the ability to spot coat and die-cut if we wished, said Tom O’Brien, President of Acculink.”

“Dscoop has always provided us the opportunity to meet and interact with peers directly related to HP in various industries. Year after year the community grows larger and allows for greater exposure to new technology and ideas, and we are pleased to be a part of that” said Tom Hayes, CEO of Kompac. “We look forward to the event in Lyon, France, in early June.”
