The Sacmi Group, a solid presence in Iran for over 10 years, is determined to embrace all the exciting new market opportunities by taking part in the 24 th edition of the international fair in Tehran. We'll be showcasing great new products, such as the new heroPET system, designed to take the global beverage industry into the Industry 4.0 era

A 50% increase in exports in the first 8 month of 2016: this figure alone, which illustrates the increase in sales of packaging technologies by Italy and Germany to Iran, underlines the region's strategic importance for the industry's European players. In this setting, then, Sacmi is back as a leading protagonist at Iran Food + Bev Tec 2017 following a rewarding experience at the 2016 edition (the first after the lifting of international sanctions) which attracted more than 30,000 visitors and 1,421 exhibitors from 48 countries.

The 24 th edition is due to be held from 23 to 26 May 2017 in the capital city of Tehran (International Permanent Fairgrounds). Sacmi will be taking part with its own stand (Hall 38B, Italian area); here, it will showcase its very best technology and plant engineering proposals for the industry, with a strong focus on the many new developments within the solutions range. These include the revolutionary heroPET4.0 technology, the world's first system to provide true, total integration between preform production and the stretch blow moulding-bottling line.

Equipped with cutting-edge automated quality control systems and advanced line supervisors that allow real-time performance monitoring of all individual machines and the line as a whole, Sacmi's complete bottling lines are taking the beverage world into the Industry 4.0 era, opening up new scenarios and opportunities for manufacturers. The ultra-high productivity and flexibility of individual labelling solutions (from KUBE labellers - ever-more popular and acclaimed on the markets - to the ultra-clean filling systems being sold in increasing numbers to top international beverage industry players) go hand in hand with excellent Sacmi service thanks to the Group's far-reaching presence on all the main markets and its over 75 companies located in 30 countries.

More specifically, Sacmi has had a branch in Iran since 2006: Sacmi Iran, equipped to support all Group businesses and provide customers with close support right from the design stage. A fast, efficient spare parts service and across-the- range tele-assistance solutions complete the guarantees Sacmi is able to offer producers in Iran, the third biggest packaging technologies market in the entire Middle East.
