susie zhang r, of reed exhibitions, organizers of sinofoldingcarton 2014, poses with jimmy juneanto, chairman of the indonesian association of printers.jimmy juneanto, chairman of the indonesian association of printers, provided a comprehensive outline of the current marketing opportunities within the country&rsquos printing industry. indonesia has the largest economy in southeast asia. the country boasts a population of 240 million, the fourth largest in the world. the indonesian economy has grown steadily over the past decade as a result of high demand for exports of its consumer goods and industrial products.there are currently 28,910 printing enterprises in indonesia, employing nearly 322,000 people, and with an annual output of 177 billion sqm. the export value of its printing industry is usd 216 million and imports are valued at usd 155 million. the growth rate of indonesia&rsquos printing industry is almost equal to that of the country&rsquos gdp, between 6&ndash7 annually.similarly, the growth rate for indonesia&rsquos packaging industry is approximately 6.3 higher than that of the country&rsquos newspapers and magazines. for printing techniques, web offset printing and sheetfed offset printing account for approximately 80 of the total output value of indonesian printing.flexography accounts for 7 of indonesia&rsquos total output value and, while this is low in comparison to the figures for traditional printing techniques, digital printing is experiencing a period of high growth so this figure should catch up over time.mr. juneanto expressed eagerness to collaborate with sinofoldingcarton and confirmed that, in addition to organizing visiting trade delegations to the exhibition, he will further support the event by ensuring that his industry colleagues are all informed of the details of the showcase.sinofoldingcarton will be held alongside sinocorrugated south from april 10&ndash12, 2014, at guangdong modern international exhibition center in houjie, dongguan. demand for exhibition booths has been enthusiastic, surpassing all expectations &ndash to the extent that exhibition space in the third hall has already sold out. the event has therefore been expanded across an additional three halls, making the total area of the event 60,000 sqm.over 600 exhibitors are expected to showcase their latest products and technologies to at least 26,000 trade visitors from the asiapacific region. six individual zones of exhibition space have been dedicated to flexography, digital printing, electronic monitoring codes, base paper and oil ink &amp printing consumables. in addition to the numerous display events on offer, sinofoldingcarton 2014 will also feature a key educational element, through the china flexography summit and the digital printing china summit.many established companies from within the printing industry, both domestic and international, including bhs, emba, fosber, hp, taiwan hsieh hsu and taiwan yueli, have registered to exhibit their products at the event.&nbsp
