A canadian company, nature&rsquos farm&trade, has chosen sustainable and compostable natureflex&trade from innovia films to wrap its range of gourmet pasta products. Founded in 1987 in steinbach, manitoba, nature&rsquos farm&trade is a familyowned business with a poultry operation producing eggs. In 1993 after several years of careful research and some time as a &lsquodesigneregg&rsquo wholesaler, they introduced nature&rsquos pasta&trade, which now appears on the menus of some of north america&rsquos best eating establishments. The farm&rsquos fresh freerange eggs from hens fed an allnatural vegetarian diet go through a stringent quality inspection before being shipped to the nearby pastamaking facility. Strict adherence to oldworld, smallbatch production methods has created gourmet pasta that is setting new standards in taste, texture, and quality. The products are packed inhouse on a bosch terra 25 vffs machine set up to run at 15ppm. The woodpulp is sourced from managed plantations from referenced suppliers operating good forestry principals fsc or equivalent.
