delhi, nov 16, 2015&ndashcosmo films, a leading manufacturer of speciality bopp films recently announced dharmesh zavery as business head for its east asian operations. dharmesh will be based out of company&rsquos japan office.&nbspdharmesh zavery&rsquos career spans over a period of 17 years, of which 15 years have been in the packaging industry itself where he has held leadership positions both in indian and international markets. dharmesh&rsquos last assignment was with huhtamaki ppl india where he worked as head of sales.&nbsp&nbspthe company has a manufacturing facility and sales unit in korea while it has an elaborate distribution and sales set up in japan. &nbspthe korea facility also manufacturers the complete portfolio of thermal lamination products that the company offers which includes matte, gloss, scuff free matte, holographic, velvet and silver pet products. company enjoys 20 share of the japanese market for thermal lamination films. east asian unit has significant presence in countries like korea, china and taiwan and is looking to extend its sales to thailand, vietnam, indonesia and malaysia as well. company is also planning to double its production for thermal lamination films from its korea facility to cater to the growing market potential.&nbsp&nbspmr. pankaj poddar, ceo, cosmo films ltd said, &ldquoregional manufacturing and localized sales team has always helped our customers believe in our commitment to the market and we intend to keep bridging the last mile connectivity.&rdquo cosmo has also been looking at growing through mergers and acquisitions, dharmesh&rsquos responsibility would also include identifying potential acquisition and jv partners in the east asian region.&nbspcompany&rsquos east asian units also market their packaging &amp speciality products made out of india.&nbsp
