A strong and multi-disciplinary collaboration between 3 former Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) students—Robin Patel (CAST ’11), Marc Hyman (CAST ’06) and Ken Wong (CAST ’86)—has resulted in the successful creation of an award-winning, industry-disrupting start-up e-commerce website called The Packaging Company.
The Packaging Company was launched in 2016 as a North American-based online retailer. Its focus recognizes and assists in the challenges that all retailers face with their packaging processes after checkout. In today’s constantly growing world of e-commerce, every business requires its own custom packaging solutions. The Packaging Company provides packaging materials and custom packaging options to businesses of all sizes and types, without the need for unreasonable minimum order quantities or tiered pricing breaks.
