german company uboot getr&aumlnke is looking to stir up the spirits sector with a packaging concept from greiner packaging.uboot getr&aumlnke is introducing the classic &ldquouboat&rdquo, a product that was available for decades only in selected restaurants and pubs. together with greiner, uboot getr&aumlnke developed new packaging that pays tribute to the &ldquomixed drink&rdquo concept.this launch was made possible, thanks to greiner packaging using its &ldquobottleinthebottle&rdquo concept. the classic &ldquouboat&rdquo is a schnapps glass filled with highproof spirits that is dropped into a glass with soda.&ldquowe developed a bottleinthebottle concept and mastered the challenge of functionality and product safety. both bottles are sealed with the same cap which, when unscrewed, detaches the smaller inner bottle the &ldquouboat&rdquo from the seal the uboat then sinks in the bigger outer bottle,&rdquo explains g&uumlnter ausserw&oumlger, head of division kavo. &ldquowe are proud of this packaging solution since it clearly underscores the greiner packaging&rsquos strengths in innovation. the new type of packaging now provides uboat drinks for the first time as filled, finished products.&rdquouboat drinks are available in four flavors &ldquoblue&rdquo glacier water liqueur with lemon soda, &ldquogreen&rdquo herb liqueur with energy drink, &ldquoyellow&rdquo vodka with orange soda, &ldquoorange&rdquo vodka with energy drink. the system solution is said to be suited to skiing areas, as well as clubs and discos.&nbsp
