method, a cleaning product company, is introducing its latest invention in sustainable packaging. they have brought their products in the bottles that are made of plastic which has been recovered from the ocean. this limited edition packing will be used by the san franciscobased company for its newest product, a twoinone hand and dish soap. this product will be exclusively available at whole foods market stores that are in the united states. researchers say that, every year, million tons of plastic make its way into the oceans, hurting marine populations and polluting the environment. however, through this innovative use of recovered ocean plastic, method is trying to prove that there are effective ways to make plastic than utilizing virgin material. the company mentions that almost all of its packaging is made up of postconsumer recycled material that helps keeping additional plastic out of oceans and landfills. over the past few months, method employees have worked together with local volunteers from the kokua hawai&rsquoi foundation and sustainable coastline hawai&rsquoi to handcollect tons of plastic from area beaches. that&rsquos where the types of rigid, opaque plastic required to make this packaging are available in most abundant. method says a part of the product&rsquos proceeds will go to those two hawaiian organizations as a part of the company&rsquos efforts to create a constant business model as well as supply chain for the purpose of collecting and sorting plastic marine debris. this new twoinone soap with technology of odoreliminating is now exclusively available at whole foods market stores nationally and on methodhome.com. it is also available in two fragrances &ndash sweet water and sea minerals at a suggested retail price of 4.99. source of information httpwww.greenerideal.comlifestyle1011frombeachtobottlenewsoapusessustainabl…
