a russian brand agency and a designer evgeny morgalev have produced a cardboard box that can cook an egg without waterthe gogol mogol is a singleuse cardboard egg box made with special chemical layers that produce heat when activated. each individual package for an egg is made from recycled cardboard with several layers.a tag pulled from the container sets off a chemical reaction which makes the small package warm up and cook the egg in just two minutes.it was created by brand agency kian and designed by evgeny morgalev. it has just won an award from the european packaging design association.a kian spokesman told pn &ldquothe gogol mogol is an ambitious concept, named after an eggbased russian dish. we suppose, the future is coming now thanks to our innovative project. so, cooking eggs will be as easy as pulling the package. gogol mogol is an ambitious project boiling eggs can be very time consuming, so gogol mogol is a new way of cooking, storing, and of course, packing eggs.&ldquothe package design enables store owners to sell these eggs by arranging them in vertical position and also these eggs won&rsquot occupy much space in your bag.&rdquothe firm also said that it was looking for business partners and scientists, who would be able to produce and distribute the gogol mogol.a spokesman explained &ldquothe product is just a usual egg in an unusual package, possessing unique product properties. the time for preparing eggs should be a couple of minutes and after cooking eggs the package should be thrown away, it&rsquos impossible to use it more than one time.&ldquoit takes two or three minutes to boil and may be opened when you think it&rsquos done, some people prefer hardboiled eggs and other like lightly cooked eggs.&ldquogogol mogol is an ecofriendly project, so we believe the consumer of these eggs would be someone who supports the environment and has a healthy lifestyle.&rdquothe recyclable packaging is made using similar technology to selfheating tins from calcium hydroxide, water and other chemicals which create heat when mixed together.&nbsp
