descriptionsouth leinster are inviting applicants for a permanent packaging engineer within a highly regulated industry.south leinster are inviting applicants for a permanent packaging engineer within a highly regulated industry. you will be responsible for leading both the development and implementation of new packaging designs, label design, testing and ensuring appropriate industry and corporate regulations and standards are adhered to.essential job functionslead the development and demonstrate strong and clear accountabilityresponsibility for the successful and timely completion and implementation of new packaging systems for new product introductions.work closely with all cross functional teams in particular core project teams, labelling groups, marketing, regulatory, and quality.ensure packaging projects are in compliance with regulatory and corporate guidelines. maintain compliance and knowledge of systems and procedures with iso, ista, astm and the fda regulations regarding package development and gs1 bar code software.ability to travel to sites for product development.initiate new and or revised documentation and tracks through appropriate approval cycles and implementation and generate engineer proposals.contribute to troubleshooting in the resolution of packaging related issues in manufacturing and the field.minimum requirementsbeng or bsc with a minimum two year experience working within the pharmaceutical packaging.this role would ideally suit someone with a r&ampd engineering background with previous work experience in packaging within the biomedical device industry. if you have any further queries pertaining to this role, please do not hesitate to contact judi on 01 4744614 or email your cv to . all informal queries or formal applications will treated with the strictest confidence, no details shall be passed to third parties without you prior and expressed consent to do so.&nbsp
