ExPak XL is NEFAB Group's new patented packaging solution, engineered for fast, efficient and safe packaging for volumes of up to 700 cubic feet. This returnable, nailless plywood packaging solution can be assembled by one man, safely and quickly, without tools. The packaging can be repeatedly dismantled and reassembled, which significantly reduces lead times compared to traditional wood-and-nail crates. The result is excellent product protection combined with greater control and cost-efficiency. The foam fitment system provides protection against shock and scratches. Its size is optimized for the whole logistic chain, and can be delivered flat, resulting in cost savings and environmental benefits.  The packaging is held together with clamps, which are mounted without tools in the pre-cut grooves. The clamps are made of flexible sprung steel, so they don’t pop off when the packaging is bumped or jolted. All that is needed for dismantling is a regular screwdriver - the clamp is designed to drop right into your hand. The side panels are mounted using a profile that is pressed into their lower edge. The panels can be mounted horizontally onto the base profile or angled inwards up to 60°, reducing the need for a large space in which to pack goods. Nefab ExPak XL is made of high-quality birch or pine plywood, 8–12 millimeters thick depending on the application. It is compact when collapsed for storage and takes up very little space. This packaging can be used with most types of pallets, making it very flexible and easy to handle.

Industrial Packaging

This is expensive for Indian market, and with so much use of XLPE foam, its concern for environment & cost all the more increases.

Thank you for your views Mr.

Thank you for your views Mr. Ravi. No doubt, XLPE form is a concern for the enviornment. I also agree, this may be an expensive option for Indian Market. But if we look at the holistic approach of this packaging. Then it is reusable and required less men power as compared to the traditionally used packaigng. Even it will  prove to be a sturdy package for the large components. So by other means this packaging  is saving cost. Because of this reusability, this package is not harming enviornment.
