KX GYM, a private health & fitness focussed members club based in Chelsea, London, recently launched a new online shop. The first product on the site, KX365, is a daily nutritional programme that helps maintain optimal health. KX turned to creative design agency, Haime & Butler to position, name and develop the rationale behind the new range of products. Burgopak Healthcare & Technology were tasked with the structural design and manufacturing of the packaging for the KX365 product. The primary requirement for the product was to create a convenient and portable pack to fit with the fast-paced lifestyle of KX clientele. There was also a need to develop additional packaging to house a full months supply. The clever mechanism behind the design uses a thin band within the pack to simultaneously eject the blister from the opposite end to the card pulled by the user. To close the pack the consumer simply pushes the tab back to its original position. The clean aesthetic was achieved by using crisp white board stock printed with two PMS colours, one of which being metallic. The unique sliding function of the design provides additional printable areas that allow for added brand communication. The outer sleeve, blister and pull component are all connected and kept protected inside the pack, safe from the perils of transportation in the average handbag or trouser pocket. Burgopak Healthcare & Technology provide innovative packaging solutions for the vitamins and minerals market.
