breakfast boffins have created an egg that boils in its own box. this is a perfect solution for munching while a customer is on the move. the gogol mogol is a onetime use cardboard egg box that is made with special chemical layers, which generate heat when activated. when a tag is pulled from the container, it starts a chemical reaction. due to this chemical reaction, a heat is produced that results into cooking egg within a span of just two minutes. a russian team of inventors, which is known as kian, created this innovative packaging. it is designed by evgeny morgalev. the european packaging design association has awarded this innovative packaging. a spokesman of kian said that the product is a usual egg that is packed in an innovative packaging, which is a unique product property. he further mentioned that an egg should be cooked in a span of two minutes. a package should be thrown away after cooking an egg. the packaging is made for a single time use. so, a consumer cannot use the same packaging for more than one time. this packaging takes twothree minutes to boil an egg. a consumer can open it when he thinks it is done. the cooking time may vary as per the choice of people as some people like hard boiled eggs, whereas some people prefer lightly cooked ones. a spokesman further explained that gogol mogol is an environment friendly project. so the company believes the consumer of these eggs would be someone who has a healthy lifestyle and supports the environment. the packaging is recyclable. when calcium hydroxide, other chemicals, and water are mixed together, it creates heat. this innovative packaging is based on the similar technology that is used in selfheating tins. source of information httpwww.thesun.co.uksolhomepagenews4678554packagingboilseggin2minswithoutwa…
