Asahi YOU. US, Ltd. announces it starts selling Japan’s first eco-friendly bottle made using domestic thinning lumber, My Bottle in The Forest, at its official online store on February 24, 2022.

As its first introduction, Shibuya Stream Excel Hotel Tokyu has decided to gradually introduce My Bottle in The Forest to all the guest rooms, starting from February 24, so that guests can use the bottle to bring water into their own rooms.
In addition, sustainable products including My Bottle in The Forest will be put on sale at sustainable pop-up shops to be set up for a limited time only in March 2022 at Marui Family Mizonokuchi store and Soka Marui store of the Marui Group.

■ About My Bottle in The Forest

  • My Bottle in The Forest is a reusable eco-bottle made from environmentally friendly materials. It aims to change in consumers’ dependency on disposable products and create culture of carrying their own bottle.
  • The bottle is made from thinned cypress wood from Wakayama Prefecture mixed with plastic, so that it gives you a natural texture and aroma derived from wood. 28% of the materials used in the bottle comes from thinning lumber.
  • It is designed to be re-capable, lightweight, and easy to carry. Its high durability and heat-resistance makes it possible to carry a hot drink as well. The finger ring attached to the lid makes it easy to carry.
  • Printed on the surface of the bottle are the message “DRINK FOR GOOD” and the logo “MY BOTTLE IN THE FOREST.” It is also possible to print your original design on it.
  • The bottle size is approximately 420 milliliters.
  • It is available at Asahi YOU US Mall for 1,500 yen (excluding tax).
