arla foods, which is one of the most prominent uk dairy producers, has updated its lurpak spreadables butter products by adding metalized paper labelling in it from ar metalizing. this change is believed to give a new shelf appeal to products. as soon as arla foods decided the spreadables tubs were in line for a renovation, they had a checklist of needs for the latest design it had to offer product protection, shelf appeal and sustainability. danish packaging outfit rpc superfos took a further action they created injectionmoulded pp tubs with the help of using inmould labels with metalized paper from ar metalizing that is based in belgium. joseph s. formosa, who is ar metallizing&rsquos director of product development and business, said that the product was particularly designed for this specific market. he further mentioned that injection iinmould label decoration has some special requirements, and ar metalizing worked from raw materials right through the converting chain to create a unique paper, supported modifications and specialty coatings to converting equipment in order to make this success possible. as per the information given by rpc superfos representatives, the end package improves upon the original thermoformed packages with a striking silvery look. the redesigned graphics use the eyecatching temperament of the metallic finish to tempt consumers for purchasing the lurpak spreadables. further, formosa mentioned that apart from the eyecatching benefits of the new packaging, the metalized labels also offer noteworthy functional benefits. formosa said that their metalized paper offers exceptional radiation protection visible uv as well as light and ir &ndash this extended the life span of the product within the tub. the other main function ar metalizing metalized paper offers is the fact that arm&39s metalized paper is completely recyclable so this newly designed package is also ecofriendly. source of information httpichainnel.comennews484195moai2smetallizedmakeoverfreshensbutterproductpackaging
