menasha has completed the acquisition of pearcewellwood, a corrugated and plastic packaging manufacturer and supply chain solutions provider based in canada on undisclosed terms.pearcewellwood will now operate as part of menasha packaging company, a unit of menasha.menasha has also purchased an ownership stake in tencorr packaging, a corrugated sheet manufacturer with plants in brampton and mississauga, ontario, from pearcewellwood&39s parent company, pearce group, as part of the agreement signed earlier.menasha president and ceo jim kotek said &quotthe acquisition of pearcewellwood provides menasha packaging company a foothold in canada to better serve new and existing major consumer packaged goods customers located in the region with expertise in display design, manufacturing and fulfillment.&quotin addition to expanding menasha packaging company&39s operations to canada, the acquisition enhances endtoend merchandising solutions.menasha packaging company president mike waite said &quotacquiring pearcewellwood allows menasha packaging to not only expand geographically in canada with an established facility and manufacturing operation, but to do so with a reputable company that operates with a similar business model and value system.&quotthe combined companies&39 packaging offerings and fulfillment capabilities expand menasha&39s marketleading footprint and will improve our ability to provide canadian customers with endtoend merchandising solutions.&quot&nbsp
