professionalism, experience, technology, and great attention to the global market and to the necessities of its customers are the ingredients for success at teamac. teamac is a company situated in budrio in the bologna province, which manufactures machines for packing tea in ecological bags. the company, in 2003, joined the marchesini group, and today, it is a leader in the sector of packaging machinery. the name teamac originates from the first three characters of the words tea machinery. it was established in 1993 by alberto daunisi, who is an expert with global experience in the packaging sector, under the banner maisa italia in partnership with guillermo mai, who is an argentinean owner and entrepreneur of maisa argentina and son of its initiator pablo mai. as a result, the company&rsquos tea packaging skill originates from the trade that from 1974 guillermo mai chosen to undertake with the intention of producing tea packaging machinery at a rate within reach of less prosperous countries such as those in africa or south america. until then, automatic tea packaging was only feasible on rather expensive and sophisticated machines, which manufactured double chamber bags sealed using a metal staple. in contrast, the machines that were set up by mr. mai manufactured single chamber bags that were closed using glue which were immensely successful. however, as the period went by the double chamber bag, having four parts in connection with the hot water and so ideal for an infusion, proved to be a progressively good solution, which took 75 of the market. this encouraged mr. daunisi instantly to study a machine not just capable to produce that type of pack, but also capable to offer an extra degree of improvement. aware of the rising market demand for an ecological pack, mr. daunisi made a fully ecological, new concept tea bag that was made of entirely natural filter paper and sealed by double knotting string used to attach the paper tag to it. hence, the solution was without any external agents no glue which partially melts in the infusion, no metal staples to spread microanodising in the water which melts in the cup of tea in a microwave. mr. daunisi with his company maisa italia created the idea from 199596. after five years of studies, research and investments, in 20002001, it applied the idea, marketing the md25 as well as its &ldquosister&rdquo machine the md20, a new idea machine capable to package tea in these kinds of totally ecological bags. source of information httpwww.marchesini.comnewseventsstarletterstarletterteapackagingmarketleade…
