 22 dec 2014 &minus the german market for packaging glass is in excellent shape after three quarters. deliveries tonnage have increased by 3 over the past nine months, according to the duesseldorfbased glass packaging federation &ldquoaktionsforum glasverpackung&rdquo. the football world cup and the warm spring were among the decisive factors boosting beverage markets. this year the market for sparkling wine registered particularly impressive growth with gains of almost 10 after three quarters compared to last year&rsquos reference period. industry players say one of the reasons for this as in the beer segment was this year&rsquos football world cup.
