Fedrigoni has unveiled the Wet-Glue Collection, a selection of its papers for labels now available in sheet format for wet-glue labeling. Conceived for use in the wine and spirits, beverage, and gourmet food industries, the new Wet-Glue range mainly features wet-strength papers with high performance technology and barrier properties to withstand critical conditions - such as humidity, grease, and variations in temperature – with high-quality printability.
The collection offers a wide range of unique papers, made from virgin, alternative or recycled fibers, coated, cast-coated and uncoated, ideal for offset printing and a variety of embellishment techniques. Available in a grammage ranging from 70 to 100gsm, an even wider range and tailor-made products are also offered on request.
The Wet-Glue collection is organized into four different families: Performance +, Natural, Classic and Iconic. Each category offers technologies, compositions, finishes and colors that give the premium products a refined and original touch.
Designed to withstand the harshest environments, papers in the Performance+ range are suitable for converting labels that need to resist cold, alkaline substances, moisture and grease, ideal for creating champagne, sparkling wine, wine, spirits, beers and olive oil labels. For example, Ice-proof WS is the best for products stored in an ice bucket, or Wove Wash-off WS which is optimal for returnable bottles.
Papers in the Natural category are made from alternative or recycled fibers, qualities that make them suitable for environmentally conscious brands. Their raw, authentic look pairs with hot stamping and embossing, adding a sophisticated touch to any product, such as Bagassa 60 WS made with sugarcane residues, or Cotone 100 WS with 100 percent linters of cotton.
Inspired by traditional finishes, Classic series papers feature elegant wove, rough laid, laid embossed, and felt-marked textures. The timeless colors and textures delicately highlight details, making them perfect for wines, craft beers, and gourmet products. A combination of tradition and quality that reinforces the product's authenticity.
Finally, Iconic, a celebration of distinctive embossing and style. With the brilliance of Splendorlux, the iridescent touch of Perla WS and the deep black of Wove WS Iconic Black, these papers are designed for the most prestigious products, enhancing their visual identity.
