Dharampal Satyapal Group (DS Group), a leading FMCG conglomerate and multi-business corporation, has made a significant advancement in its sustainability efforts by installing solar-powered electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at its headquarters in Noida. This initiative underscores the Group’s ongoing commitment to promoting clean energy solutions and providing practical, eco-friendly options for its employees.

The newly installed EV charging stations offer a convenient and user-friendly solution for employees who drive electric vehicles, enabling them to recharge their cars during work hours. By encouraging the adoption of electric vehicles, DS Group is actively working to reduce its carbon footprint and contribute to a greener future.

“The installation of these EV charging stations aligns perfectly with DS Group’s commitment to environmental stewardship. We believe this initiative will not only benefit our employees by providing a convenient charging solution but also contribute to a more sustainable future for all,” said Mr. Ramesh Kumar, Senior General Manager of Facility Management at DS Group.

The DS Group Headquarters (DSHQ) is already recognized as a model of sustainability, holding a LEED Platinum certification. The building is lauded for its sustainable practices across seven key areas, including reducing pollution through employee transportation, utilizing native plants and rainwater harvesting, implementing significant water conservation measures, enhancing energy efficiency with features like daylight access, using eco-friendly materials, maintaining excellent indoor air quality, and striving for carbon neutrality through renewable energy and waste management.

This latest initiative further solidifies DS Group’s dedication to environmental, social, and economic sustainability, reflecting its long-term focus on creating a positive impact both within the organization and in the broader community.
