Cama Group has strengthened its position in the DACH region (Germany, Austria & Switzerland) with the appointment of an agent and sales manager at GUTOM GmbH & CO. KG.
Thanks to this enhanced local presence, the leading Italian packaging machine supplier will grow its user base by offering technology and capabilities that are not available from local suppliers.
“There are plenty of machine suppliers in Germany,” explains Carsten Fouquet, Cama’s new sales manager at its DACH agent Gutom. “This is why it is essential you do not enter the market with a ‘me too’ product, as many companies will simply go with local suppliers.
“Cama has proved in multiple markets around the world that it is certainly not a ‘me too’ supplier,” he continues. “In fact, its technologies have been setting the pace in terms of features, flexibility, and performance in multiple applications around the globe and we are looking to create the same level of buzz in the German-speaking markets.”
