Coatings & Adhesives Corp. (C&A) has announced the development of Deter BT, a bitter tasting coating line for labels and consumer packaging. Deter BT is a specialized coating series that imparts a bitter taste to coated products to deter children from chewing or eating print/packaging components.
According to Steve Burleson, Coatings and Adhesives sales and market segment business manager - label products, “Safety. First. Always. C&A's manufacturing takes place in a modern 100,000-plus square foot facility located in Leland, NC, USA. Finished goods are shipped from this location directly to customers or to one of its many warehouses located throughout the country.
