british packaging company benson group will be exhibiting its premium carton board packaging solutions for the gift trade at top drawer in london&rsquos olympia this january.benson primarily produces printed folding cartons for the food and beverage retail industry for a wide range of uk and european customers.visitors will be able to talk to benson&39s packaging design experts about their creative approach to premium packaging, and to share the techniques they have developed for brands including bombay sapphire, crabtree & evelyn, aldi &39specially selected&39 and koppaberg.benson&39s range of products include state of the art designs and revolutionary print techniques that have been developed by the company&39s conceptual design and technical teams.visitors will be able to see benson&39s product range including benson verso, folding carton design and the benson panoramic pack with its 360degree viewing window.benson is expecting to achieve sales in excess of £100m in the upcoming year.currently, the company manufactures packaging products at three production sites that cover an area of 300,000 ft2 and employs close to 800 people.the main customers for the three production sites are food and beverage processors with uk headquarters and manufacturing at bardon, leicestershire, and production facilities at two sites in the north east, at gateshead and newcastle.in recent years, the company has invested close to £20m across its three sites which includes the purchase of an eightcolour heidelberg speedmaster xl 106 b1 format perfecting press.benson is an approved supplier for all of the uk&39s retail chains and includes clients like two sisters food group, greencore, and samworth brothers.
