lately, apple stated that they now have water dissoluble packaging for their latest products. up to now, a portion of the latest fifthgeneration ipod touch and seventh generation ipod nano&lsquos packaging are biodegradable, not counting millions of other products from apple. being a consistent leader in package and product design, they mentioned in the past that their products are green friendly. their customers will be impressed with their environmental responsibility being undertaken, when they see the packaging dissolve in warm water. the website of apple mentions that a renewable tapioca paper foam material is used that turns into a recyclable pulp after being broken down in warm water. moreover, apple claimed that their dedication is towards reengineering recycled material in core components of their designs. these include advanced materials are used for their fan assemblies, which are derived from repolymerized plastic bottles. along with waste reduction, apple also attempted to limit toxic substances that are used in other parts of the industry. they explained that they sell every product free of bfrs and other harmful toxins and qualify thousands of components to be free of elemental bromine and chlorine. this way, they will be years ahead of others in the industry. arsenicfree glass and mercuryfree led backlighting are some of the examples of components that apple desires to reduce toxicity. recent news quoted a foxconn plant worker in china saying that the problem is the excessive exposure and fumes in production. however, these facts enable a breath of fresh air for apple, since the other latest disasters in the media. httpvrzone.comarticlesapplespackagingaquadegradable17395.html
