Innovative Waste Collection for RoRo StretchPack® Machines
Tentoma Packaging Solutions has introduced an advanced vacuum unit designed to streamline the collection of film snippets from its RoRo StretchPack® packaging machines. This new unit enhances operational efficiency by enabling the collection of film scraps in any container, which can be placed independently of the packaging machine. The innovation ensures uninterrupted high-speed packaging by efficiently removing excess film snippets.

Neat Packaging Meets Sustainability Goals
For companies seeking visually appealing and uniform packaging, trimming film ends during the wrapping process on RoRo StretchPack® machines is essential. Efficiently collecting these trimmed film snippets not only ensures stable packaging but also supports sustainability by enabling recycling.

Previously, Tentoma offered a single vacuum unit option with an integrated container. Now, the new vacuum unit allows customers greater flexibility by enabling film snippet collection in external containers of their choice. This ensures enhanced convenience and aligns with customer-specific requirements for container type, size, and placement.

Two Vacuum Unit Options to Suit Diverse Needs
Tentoma now offers two types of vacuum units, catering to various operational requirements:

  1. Vacuum Unit with Integrated Container

    • Collects film snippets in a built-in container.
    • Alerts operators when the container is almost full.
    • Automatically halts and resumes packaging when the container is emptied.
    • Ideal for setups where container integration is preferred.
  2. Vacuum Unit for External Container

    • A new option for collecting and transferring film snippets to an external container.
    • Accommodates customer-specific container preferences for size, type, and placement.
    • Supports shared container use across multiple production lines.
    • Perfect for businesses prioritizing operational flexibility.

RoRo StretchPack®: Revolutionizing Sustainable Packaging
Tentoma’s RoRo StretchPack® technology employs stretch hood film for horizontal wrapping, offering four-sided and six-sided packaging solutions. This innovative method is ideal for wrapping rolls, building materials, and large products, significantly reducing film consumption by 25-60% compared to traditional stretch film wrappers and shrink-wrapping methods.

By combining efficient waste collection with advanced wrapping technology, Tentoma Packaging Solutions continues to lead the way in creating innovative and sustainable packaging solutions.
