SÜDPACK MEDICA, a prominent player in the pharmaceutical industry, is set to make its mark at Pharmapack in Paris as a leading solution provider. With a dedicated booth (D79 in hall 7.2) and an insightful workshop, the company places a significant focus on sustainable packaging solutions. Highlighting the PharmaGuard® blister concept, various pouch solutions, and coextruded flexible and rigid films for thermoformed packaging, SÜDPACK MEDICA aims to address the evolving needs of the market.

Having embraced sustainability early on, SÜDPACK MEDICA has actively adjusted its portfolio to align with market demands. The award-winning PharmaGuard, a recyclable blister concept for solids applications, stands out as a pioneering solution with excellent transparency, stable thermoforming, and broad sealing range. Jürgen Bodenmüller, Business Development Director at SÜDPACK MEDICA, emphasizes PharmaGuard's outstanding potential for the future.

To ease the transition to processing polypropylene (PP)-based blister films, SÜDPACK MEDICA introduces PharmaGuard Advanced. This variant offers a broader process window for thermoforming and sealing, presenting significant advantages over customary PP films in the market, particularly for companies with diverse blister machines.

As part of its Pharmapack participation, SÜDPACK MEDICA invites attendees to the "First choice PP for primary pharma packaging" workshop on January 24 at the Paris Expo. The workshop will delve into the environmental footprint of various packaging concepts, segment-specific solutions from PharmaGuard, and strategies for the pharmaceutical industry to reduce CO2 emissions and embrace a true circular economy.

Jürgen Bodenmüller underlines SÜDPACK's commitment to actively shape the transformation in the packaging industry and support healthcare partners with expertise and pioneering solutions. The company anticipates considerable interest in tubular and 3-side-seal pouches, offering optimal packaging for items like stoppers, filters, and connectors. Additionally, the spotlight will be on coextruded flexible and rigid films, vital for sterilizable thermoformed packaging, boasting diverse functionalities to suit product needs.

With a strong portfolio catering to the pharmaceutical industry, SÜDPACK MEDICA aims to contribute to sustainable practices and advancements in primary pharma packaging. Pharmapack attendees can explore these innovations and engage with experts from SÜDPACK MEDICA to stay at the forefront of the evolving pharmaceutical packaging landscape.
