ALFA MACHINE is excited to present a major innovation to the European food industry.  The integration of a new pre-cut technology that produces PET easily snappable multipacks into single cups.

Polystyrene material is no longer the only way to go in multipack production, the industries can also use PET material taking advantage of its 100% recyclability and its lower price.

After the great success of the first presentation of this cutting-edge technology at the Gulfood Manufacturing exhibition in Dubai last November, Alfa Machine is now preparing to bring this significant innovation.

The new FRS-L 10/40 is designed and manufactured specifically to customers’ expectations for an eco-friendly transition from the Polystyrene (PS) base material to the recyclable and more cost-effective PET material, without outlining the use of PS.

Easy-snap PET cups and a combination of mono-material packaging can be now a reality, offering completely recyclable packaging. Also, the superior transparency of PET material is without doubt an asset for applications requiring premium product visibility.

Additionally, the new FRS-L 10/40 is equipped with the unique In-Mould-Labelling system which is able to produce labeled cups for both cold and hot-filled products, offering zero limitations in the product’s filling temperature.  Simple to use, accurate, and reliable in its operation, this new FFS machine is designed with attention to detail aiming for low maintenance. That’s how we’ve managed to excel in our challenging field for the last 39 years.

Technical Specifications:

  • Production capacity: 10,800 cups per hour
  • Size of cups: 125g
  • Cutting format: 4-cup multipacks
  • Hygienic version: Ultra-Clean (class IV according to VDMA standards)
  • Type of label: Full-body banderole paper label for both cold and hot-filled products
  • Filling station: Servomotor-driven volumetric filler with a dosing range from 50 to 150 ml appropriate for any liquid and semi-viscous food products.
